Why We Created Pop Lemon 🍋

When I became a mom, I knew there would be many important conversations I would one day have with my daughter, Gemmy. As a nurse, I understand how important it is for girls to feel prepared, informed, and supported before their first period. But as a mom, I wanted something more.

I wanted Gemmy to feel confident instead of scared, supported instead of embarrassed, and proud of the incredible changes happening in her body.

That desire became the inspiration for Pop Lemon.

Building Pop Lemon Together🍋

What began as a mother's wish to prepare her daughter quickly became something even more meaningful. The greatest gift of this journey has been building Pop Lemon alongside Gemmy. Every idea, design, and decision has become an opportunity to show her that her voice matters, her dreams matter, and that she is capable of creating something meaningful in the world.

More than a first period kit, Pop Lemon is a reflection of the lessons I hope to pass on to my daughter: to lead with kindness, believe in herself, and never be afraid to pursue big ideas.

Together, we hope to help girls feel more confident, support families through important conversations, and remind young girls everywhere that they are capable of more than they can imagine. Because every girl deserves to feel prepared, supported, and celebrated

Meet Gemmy 🍋

Gemmy is the inspiration behind Pop Lemon and my favorite business partner.

As we built Pop Lemon together, she helped shape the ideas, messages, and details that make the kit feel encouraging and welcoming for girls her age.

One of the greatest joys of this journey has been showing her that big ideas can come from ordinary people, that her voice matters, and that she is capable of creating something meaningful in the world.

Through Pop Lemon, I hope she learns that confidence, kindness, and courage can take her anywhere she wants to go.
